Valtra is one of the largest companies in the industry in both production and selling of tractors with around 30% of the Brazilian market share, and it also exports to more than 60 countries. When it first arrived in Brazil, in 1960, the Finnish state-owned company was called Valmet.
In the 90’s, after being privatized, the company name was changed to Valtra/Valmet and then Valtra right after, which stands for Valmet Tractors.
The first tractor assembly plant to be established in the country, the brand is part of AGCO Corporation. Valtra’s product line characterizes for its versatility, with tractors equipped with 60 to 180-hp engines. In all these years, more than 330 thousand tractors have been manufactured. Present in farms all over Brazil, our tractors help farmers to produce more and better.
