The heavy line is comprised of models 1280R of 126 hp*, 1780 of 160 hp*, BH145 of 145 hp”, BH165 of 165 hp”, BH180 of 180 hp” and the latest Heavy Range Tractor, the BH 185i, of 190 hp”, with 6 cylinders and Turbo Intercooler. * ISO/NBR 1585.

Engine
The Heavy Range is equipped with engines designed to last much longer, with 6 cylinders in all models. The BH models have Sisu Diesel 620DSR engines, which work with Diesel or Biodiesel B20, that is, 80% of Diesel and 20% of Biodiesel in the mixture, provided that the Biodiesel follows the specifications per ANP 42/2004.
The 1280R and 1780 models, on the other hand, are equipped with Valtra MWM Diesel or Biodiesel B05 engines (95% Diesel and 5% Biodiesel). The highlight of this line is the BH 185i with Sisu Diesel 620 DSRA Turbo Intercooler engine, which is designed to follow the new trends of applications of new farming implements. The main feature of the Intercooler is lowering the intake temperature and therefore obtaining increased combustion efficiency, resulting in consumption economy and low emission levels. |
Transmission
The HD gearbox (Heavy Duty) is ideal for long and tough jobs, which demand great tractive effort, with 12 speeds forward and 4 speeds reverse, apart from 8 speeds within the effective work range (4 to 12 Km/h). This gearbox is not synchronized, but has proved to be very reliable and durable with no operating efficiency loss. |
Hydraulic System
Strength, high lifting capacity for implements in its category and great durability. These features were designed to meet the wide range terrain conditions and applications existent, always valuing simplicity to ensure low maintenance and highly efficient operations.
The 4 hydraulic kits available to the entire Heavy Range work with an Independent Hydraulic System with flow regulating valve, and the 3-point linkage and the auxiliary control valve remain with their regular functions. The system works with a front pump driven by the engine crankshaft, and the flow control valve adjusts the flow rate according to the implement needs. The system comes protected by independent filters for both suction and pressure. The flow rates and pressures range according to the kit, which are 107 l/min to 172 l/min and 180 bar and 210 bar.
The Hi Flow system is the hydraulic kit that changed the sugar cane industry. It provides the greatest hydraulic flow in the market and ideal flexibility to work with all implements that require high hydraulic flow and flow rate control. This is the first 1WD tractor in the market, which makes it possible to work with transshipment, cultivation / triple operation, planters of whole or chopped cane and distribution trailers. Each one of these implements can have different settings without affecting the performance of the field work. It has 1 to 3 valves with flow regulating valve of up to 75 l/min and auxiliary control valves of up to 51.8 to 126 l/min with an easily adjustable and operable system. |
Cab
The new Hi Comfort and Comfort Cab were designed to ensure maximum comfort to the operator. There are many benefits to the operator: panoramic view, ergonomics for long journeys, specific air-conditioning system, the lowest noise levels, and rubber mats with side flaps. In addition, the cabs have a structure that ensures safety in case of roll-over.
